Lead AI Business Analyst (AI)

Location: Dublin; primarily office-based

What you will do

• Lead AI proof-of-concepts, pilots, adoption initiatives, and transformation programs.
• Identify, prioritize, and develop AI use cases that improve operational efficiency, productivity, decision-making, and stakeholder experience.
• Analyze business processes and design future-state workflows using AI, automation, and analytics.
• Translate stakeholder needs into domain models, state machines, integration contracts, user stories, functional specifications, and executable policy rules.
• Design AI-enabled dashboards, scorecards, chatbots, executive reporting solutions, playbooks, training materials, and knowledge assets.
• Partner with IT, business stakeholders, vendors, and a multi-skilled team to evaluate and implement technology solutions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in business analysis, program or business operations, strategy and operations, or digital transformation.
• Insurance expertise in at least two areas, including commercial lines policy administration, claims, specialty, reinsurance, financial reconciliation, or regulatory reporting.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience evaluating, implementing, and using AI technologies.
• Experience with ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Vertex AI, Gemini, AI agents, and workflow automation platforms.
• Strong knowledge of generative AI, prompt engineering, AI-assisted content generation, agentic AI frameworks, AI governance, and business process automation.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, executive presentation, Agile, product management, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• AI certification such as Google AI Essentials or IIBA CBDA.
