Electronics Test Technician II - RF

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site

Develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms in a startup environment.

What you will do

• Create antenna and RF test setups in collaboration with engineers.
• Execute test plans and troubleshoot complex electronics and RF circuitry from component to system level.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including anechoic chambers, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, power supplies, and electronic loads.
• Organize antenna testing facilities, equipment, and resources.
• Fabricate clean, intricate, and well-documented setups for sensitive electronics, instrumentation, cabling, and devices under test.
• Report findings concisely and provide feedback on test documentation and procedures.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of directly related experience as an engineering technician.
• Hands-on experience with active electronics and laboratory instruments such as DMMs and power meters.
• Ability to read and work from drawings, diagrams, schematics, and test procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, organization, communication, and deadline-management skills.
• Comfort with collaboration tools including MS Teams and SharePoint.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations under space technology export regulations.

Nice to have

• Direct experience testing active phased arrays or AESAs.
