Senior Project Manager (Aviation)

What you will do

• Manage multiple or large, complex aviation construction projects from preconstruction through close-out.
• Establish budgets and contract prices, including GMP and lump-sum contracts.
• Lead subcontractor procurement, bid packages, buyout, shop drawing approvals, and material delivery.
• Maintain schedules, quality control, contract compliance, reporting, and project documentation.
• Coordinate owners, architects, subcontractors, superintendents, estimating staff, and project teams.
• Support business development, strategic growth initiatives, interviews, warranty follow-up, and claims mitigation.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience, in aviation projects.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, communication, drafting, and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
• Ability to work full time in Raleigh, NC, with regional responsibilities across the Carolinas.
