Principal Engineer, Automated Derivatives (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of derivative SoCs across RTL design, functional verification, and physical implementation.
• Build AI-augmented flows that predict timing and congestion bottlenecks before synthesis.
• Develop scripts and generative AI prompts for RTL wrappers, memory maps, bus interconnects, and other design variants.
• Create intelligent verification environments that adapt constraints, coverage goals, and regression priorities for derivative designs.
• Use pattern-recognition models to predict bug-prone RTL modules from complexity metrics and tape-out data.
• Accelerate physical implementation by generating floorplan constraints and reusing placement and routing solutions from parent designs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 12–15 years of professional semiconductor industry experience.
• Expertise in SystemVerilog RTL design and UVM-based functional verification.
• Strong understanding of synthesis, place and route, and static timing analysis.
• Expert Python skills for integrating ML models with VCS, Xcelium, Innovus, and ICC2.
• Experience with Tcl/Python feature extraction, Git, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab.
