Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Skilled Nursing

Location: Lincolnwood, Illinois, USA; onsite, full-time

Salary: USD 36–38 per hour

What you will do

• Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete admissions, assessments, discharges, care plans, service plans, and clinical documentation.
• Track clinical issues such as wounds and infection control under director supervision.
• Monitor residents’ health, notify physicians and families of changes, and document appropriately.
• Respond to emergencies, provide health-related consultation, and deliver educational meetings for residents and staff.
• Communicate with departments and staff while maintaining resident confidentiality and following the Safety & Disaster Plan.

Requirements

• Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program with general nursing education.
• At least one year of experience in senior care or a related field.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Acceptable English proficiency required for job duties, workplace communication, and emergency situations.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to multitask safely, work under pressure, and contribute to a team.
