Senior Specialist, Payroll

Location: Mostly remote, but must be within 50 miles of a hirify.global office in Texas, Wisconsin, or Pennsylvania.

Pay rate: $20.23–$49.10 per hour.

What you will do

• Review and process client payrolls, update employee records, and calculate bonuses and severance payments.
• Verify federal and state tax calculations, payroll deposits, withholdings, wage garnishments, and other reconciliations.
• Prepare employee earnings, tax, deduction, and employer contribution reports.
• Consult with clients on payroll matters, provide ADP software support, and maintain confidential employee data.
• Manage new client payroll implementations, interview clients about their needs, and train clients on payroll processes.
• Support new hires and less experienced staff while sharing payroll and software knowledge with the team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Experience with ADP RUN and payroll implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, adaptability, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to serve multiple clients in a deadline-driven environment and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Nice to have

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
