What you will do

• Complete mechanical designs for projects of average complexity from initial start through Construction Administration.
• Design HVAC systems, including split systems, package heat pumps, chilled/hot water hydronics, and air distribution systems.
• Develop plumbing systems for medical gas, hot and cold water, waste, vent, and compressed air systems.
• Create performance drawings and specifications for wet and dry pipe fire protection systems.
• Coordinate cross-discipline requirements both internally and with external partners.
• Conduct field work, attend site meetings, handle RFIs, submittals, and construction observation reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 2-8 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required for travel to project sites.
• Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and HVAC load analysis programs (HAP or TRACE).

Nice to have

• Passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
