Licensed Optician - Optical Specialist - Part Time

Location: 928 W New Haven Avenue, Melbourne, Florida, United States; onsite, part-time in-store role.

What you will do

• Provide personalized service and guide customers through eyewear selection, fitting, and product education.
• Assist with patient flow and pre-exam screenings in support of optometrists.
• Perform final adjustments, inspections, and quality checks on eyewear.
• Prepare orders for pickup and deliver accurate, polished customer handoffs.
• Support order entry, tracking, timely completion, and efficient retail and finishing-area operations.
• Partner with the store team to maintain service, visual, operational, and brand standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Active dispensing license as required by the state.
• Strong multitasking, time-management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to educate customers, prioritize customer satisfaction, and support shared store goals.
