Vice President, Portfolio Management - Lender Finance

Salary: $130,400–$161.08 annually, plus potential annual bonus or incentives and restricted stock.

What you will do

• Analyze, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of large corporate loans and structured products valued at $25 million or more.
• Gather and analyze information with originators for presentation to senior management and loan committees.
• Monitor credit risks and analyze portfolio investment performance to support buy, hold, or sell recommendations.
• Prepare portfolio scorecards and recommend collateral marks.
• Coordinate approved-loan processing in line with agreements, customer requirements, and bank lending policies.
• Resolve portfolio issues and complete ongoing underwriting and portfolio-management activities.

Requirements

• 6 or more years of experience in portfolio management or a similar field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of fixed-income investing.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of commercial credit and loan structuring.
• Completed credit analyst training and advanced verbal, Excel, and written communication skills.
• Progress toward or completion of the CFA designation.
