PRN Radiation Therapist II (Radiation)

What you will do

• Administer and accurately record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters in the electronic medical record.
• Interpret computerized treatment plans and complete simple monitor unit calculations.
• Cut radiation blocks and create custom molds when applicable.
• Support patient scheduling, billing information, and clinical instruction for newly hired therapists and students.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following the US Oncology Compliance Program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• Valid state license for radiation therapy required.
• Ability to sit regularly and occasionally stand, walk, reach, and lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Vision and hearing corrected to normal ranges.
