Registered Nurse, RN- Radiation Oncology - Per Diem (Radiation Oncology)

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Main Campus, Radiation Oncology Department

Pay range: $37.50–$56.41 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct professional nursing care to patients and families in a complex radiation oncology care area.
• Conduct, document, and evaluate accurate clinical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans based on changes in health status.
• Create patient and family education plans and support informed decisions and advance directives.
• Manage patient assignments and delegate care effectively according to patient needs and team member skills.
• Develop discharge plans using appropriate referrals and community resources, while supporting new staff transitions.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN license required.
• 0 to less than 12 months of RN experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Department-specific certifications relevant to the patient population may be required.
• Ability to apply the nursing process and communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
