AVP, Mortgage Operations

Location: Bloomington, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Salary: $71,000–$92,000 annually, plus eligibility for a quarterly bonus

What you will do

• Supervise mortgage processing, underwriting, closing, and related back-office operations.
• Manage production pipelines, staffing levels, workflow efficiency, volume, productivity, and performance metrics.
• Maintain consistent procedures, policies, training programs, quality controls, and operational standards.
• Develop HMDA reporting practices and procedures to support regulatory compliance.
• Monitor closing times, customer satisfaction, service quality, and collaboration with investors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Interview, hire, coach, evaluate, and support team members while leading engagement and cross-training initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of mortgage lending, servicing, or operational policies and practices.
• Experience in mortgage servicing or mortgage operations.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Advanced computer skills.
