Project Manager - Life Sciences / Biotech (Biotech)

Location: Raleigh, NC, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Manage construction projects through budgeting, procurement, execution, close-out, and warranty follow-up.
• Estimate project costs and establish budgets and contract prices, including GMP and lump-sum structures.
• Negotiate subcontractor agreements and material purchases, and prepare and issue subcontract bid packages.
• Maintain project schedules, coordinate shop drawing approvals and material delivery, and oversee project documentation.
• Build effective relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, superintendents, and management.
• Lead project teams, safety planning, quality control, reporting, claims mitigation, and contract compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 5–8 years of field construction management experience, including supervisory experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Drafting and computer skills.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Thorough understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, estimating, and other project management control systems.
