Cryptologic Computer Scientist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to complex cryptologic computer science problems.
• Develop solutions involving forensics, attack attribution, critical network protection, active system warnings, and knowledge discovery.
• Apply computer science concepts including operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete mathematics, programming language theory, and data structures.
• Use Python and Spark/PySpark for computer science and cyber threat analysis missions.
• Perform network and protocol analysis and work with customer tools.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, bachelor’s degree with 8 years, or associate degree with 10 years.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, including at least one programming course and four upper-level mathematics courses.
• Relevant experience in theoretical or applied computer science, mathematical or simulation model development, algorithm analysis and design, reverse engineering, or computer and information systems development.
• Strong Python and Spark/PySpark skills.
• Strong background in network and protocol analysis and familiarity with customer tools.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting active penetration into target systems.
• Experience developing mathematical models, methods, or computational science techniques.
