Senior Reverse Engineer

Salary: $142,000–$195,000 per year for Beavercreek, Ohio.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor reverse engineers while developing defined, mission-aligned technical proficiencies.
• Conduct and oversee reverse engineering across hardware, firmware, software, and network protocols.
• Design scalable system architectures, tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Analyze system architectures and component interactions to identify vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and resilient solutions.
• Collaborate with customers on near-term technical needs and long-term mission objectives.
• Research emerging reverse engineering techniques and threat landscapes, and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Active U.S. government Secret security clearance required; only U.S. citizens can obtain this clearance.
• 10+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in reverse engineering.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, software development, network protocols, cryptography, and security vulnerabilities.
• Expert proficiency in assembly, C, C++, Python, and related languages.
• Advanced experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, and debuggers, plus leadership, mentorship, and customer engagement experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware reverse engineering, firmware analysis, and embedded systems.
• Experience with embedded-system emulation, hardware-in-the-loop development, or reusable test harnesses.
• Published research or presentations at security conferences.
