Analyst - Level 1, Raw Material (Wet Chemistry)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 27–29 per hour

What you will do

• Perform raw-material testing according to approved methods, Standard Operating Procedures, ISO, and cGMP guidelines.
• Document work orders, enter results into the Laboratory Information System or client Certificate of Analysis, and submit results for QA review.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule daily laboratory work to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
• Report testing failures promptly and support investigations under the direction of the Department Manager or Group Leader.
• Maintain analyst notebooks, standardized records, reports, and data in an accurate and timely manner.
• Collaborate with analysts, peers, and supervisors while providing updates on work status.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience demonstrating the ability to perform moderate to complex laboratory duties.
• Hands-on knowledge of wet chemistry, including manual titration and limit testing.
• Experience with TOC, conductivity, pH, UV, IR, autotitration, and elemental impurities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus the ability to coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada; a vision test, including color or accuracy testing, is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge or experience with particle size distribution (PSD).
