Staff/Sr Staff Product Test Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Own sustaining test programs across multiple products throughout their mass-production lifecycle.
• Support mature power IC products in high-volume production and maintain product continuity.
• Improve yield, production volume, test time, failure performance, COGS, and manufacturing processes.
• Develop automation tools to improve operational performance and reporting efficiency.
• Analyze customer returns, product performance, failure modes, and test coverage for RMA and failure-analysis activities.
• Collaborate with design, test, operations, QA, reliability, factory, and OSAT teams while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, physics, computer engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with automated test systems.
• Experience developing test hardware and test programs using platforms such as Advantest V93K, Teradyne ETS, COHU Diamondx, or SPEA DOT800.
• Programming or scripting experience with C++, BASIC, Perl, or Python.
• Proficiency with ATE analog and digital instruments, plus strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills are required, and the role must be performed onsite.

• Experience with JMP and PDF Exenso.
