Hospital Service Technician I (Medical Equipment)

Location: Stormont Vail Health hospital site in Topeka, Kansas, United States. Full-time schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m., with flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours as needed.

Salary: $17/hour plus a $0.50 shift differential.

What you will do

• Deliver medical equipment to patient rooms and standby locations in patient-ready condition.
• Ensure equipment has the appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
• Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
• Pick up, clean, process, and prepare equipment according to hospital and company protocols.
• Meet service quality standards and customer and company performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience; hospital experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift and/or push up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand.
• Ability to support a 24/7 schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours.
