Supervisor - Fixed Term Contract

Location: Glasgow, United Kingdom; onsite showroom role

Salary: £27,995 gross per annum, plus a competitive bonus structure.

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals.
• Engage with showroom customers, provide product advice, and support suitable credit payment options.
• Drive sales performance, monitor results, and implement strategies to exceed targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the showroom is inviting and aligned with the brand.
• Manage stock levels, replenishment, opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and health and safety compliance.
• Train team members and prepare reports on sales, customer feedback, and operational issues for senior management.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in a similar retail management role, preferably in furniture or home decor.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Passion for customer service, interiors, design, and the Sofa.com brand.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, particularly in visual merchandising.
• Must be over 18 and comfortable offering credit products to customers.
• Flexibility to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, five days over seven, for 40 hours per week.
