Farsi Multi-Disciplined Language Analyst (Level 1-4)

What you will do

• Process voice and graphic language materials supporting SIGINT operations.
• Recover essential elements of information from language materials.
• Translate and transcribe complex written and spoken Farsi material.
• Produce gist-level translations of straightforward factual content.
• Support Department of Defense and intelligence community missions.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Farsi proficiency at the specified Interagency Language Roundtable levels in listening and reading, depending on position level.
• Level 1: high school diploma and 2 years of experience, with ILR 2+ in listening and reading.
• Level 2: high school diploma and 6 years of experience, or associate degree and 4 years of experience, with ILR 3 in listening or reading.
• Level 3: high school diploma and 14 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience, with ILR 3 in listening or reading.
• Level 4: high school diploma and 19 years of experience, or bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience, with ILR 3 in both listening and reading.
