What you will do

• Learn and apply electrical and mechanical maintenance skills to support safe, productive, and reliable plant operations.
• Assist with electrical and mechanical work orders, equipment breakdowns, repairs, and issue resolution.
• Document planned and unplanned maintenance findings and data in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Support maintenance improvements and learn root cause analysis and breakdown failure analysis.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, single-line drawings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Apply autonomous maintenance practices, including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and basic parts and tool usage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Enrollment in a technical school with an applicable curriculum.
• Successful completion of the plant-specific maintenance interview assessment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain forklift and aerial lift certifications.
• Ability to use a computer and basic calculator, perform basic arithmetic, use precision measuring equipment, and document maintenance work.
