Architect III – Security Domain Architect (AI Security)

Location: Dallas/Irving, Texas, United States; full-time role with up to 25% travel.

What you will do

• Advance the enterprise information security strategy across applications, APIs, data platforms, cloud services, and AI-driven platforms.
• Define security architecture standards, reference architectures, design patterns, controls, and governance practices.
• Lead application, data, cloud, and AI security architecture and represent security in enterprise architecture governance forums.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed security into DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and software supply chains.
• Guide threat modeling, risk assessments, architecture trade-offs, and secure design decisions throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Evaluate emerging technologies through proofs of concept and pilots, especially in AI and data security.

Requirements

• 10+ years of information security experience, including at least 5 years of hands-on engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Advanced experience developing reference architectures and patterns across application development, cloud compute, storage, networking, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, serverless, containers, automation, and security.
• Strong engineering experience designing, building, or securing enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, or cloud services.
• Strong expertise in data governance, data classification, data protection, DLP, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 security, AI security, and AI governance.
• Security architect-level certification such as CISSP, CCSP, or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, plus strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
