Senior Consultant, Compliance (FX)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; full-time, on-site role.

What you will do

• Provide compliance advisory support to the APAC FX business across Singapore, Australia, and China.
• Manage monitoring and surveillance activities for the APAC FX business.
• Represent compliance in governance forums and prepare regulatory reports, data, and documentation.
• Assess regulatory requirements against processes and controls, identify gaps and risks, and recommend procedural changes.
• Support regulatory change implementation, consultations, regulatory requests, and interactions with industry bodies.
• Implement regional and global compliance programs, including monitoring, testing, assurance frameworks, training, and compliance projects.

Requirements

• Previous FX compliance experience, preferably in a global financial institution and supporting sales or trading desks.
• Knowledge of Asia FX regulations, especially MAS requirements, as well as Singaporean, Korean, Australian, and Chinese law.
• Knowledge of FX derivatives regulations, trade reporting, trade booking, settlement, confirmations, and ASIC derivative transaction reporting obligations.
• Experience supporting business changes, new product launches, compliance programs, and operational processes.
• Strong understanding of the MAS Cross Border Exemption framework and exposure to CFTC Swap Dealer compliance requirements for FX.
• Fluent English with clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of the Global FX Code, MAS Blue Book, and other global market conduct guidelines.
• Project management skills and derivatives knowledge.
