Federal Tax Services Intern – Winter 2027

Location: New York; travel to assigned client locations is required

Compensation: $36–$43 per hour

What you will do

• Collaborate with teams across federal tax specialty areas, including corporate taxation, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, credits and incentives, and pass-through entities.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Apply tax regulations and accounting pronouncements to client work.
• Travel to assigned client locations using reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours.
• Work toward a B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Major in accounting.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations and arrange reliable transportation.
• A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
