Senior Quality Manager (Medtech)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $136,000–$170,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage chemistry and microbiology laboratory operations, including process validation and daily departmental workflow.
• Ensure product quality, performance, safety, and compliance with regulations, quality systems, SOPs, cGMP, and laboratory standards.
• Interface with regulators during inspections and participate in quality assessments of internal operations and suppliers.
• Lead investigations of non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, product release activities, and continuous improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Lab Services and Quality Assurance while maintaining laboratory equipment, facilities, supplies, records, and safety practices.
• Manage department budgets and develop Quality Control staff through coaching, training, and career development.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of applicable procedures, specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, technical writing, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage and supervise employees and work with subordinate supervisors and functional peers.
• Ability to understand and apply written safety and quality instructions, SOPs, cGMP, and 6S principles.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
