Focus on adapting to diverse clinical assignments, coordinating protocol-based treatment, managing triage, and expanding into oncology subspecialties.

Location: Ft Worth, Texas, with regional travel across clinics in Arlington, Azle, Bedford, Corsicana, Cleburne, Granbury, Mansfield, Fort Worth, Irving, Keller, Grapevine, Midlothian, and Weatherford.

A community oncology provider delivering evidence-based cancer care through clinics across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

  • Provide cross-coverage nursing care across medical oncology, radiation oncology, and infusion units.
  • Assess patients, obtain histories, coordinate care, provide education, and offer psychosocial support.
  • Prepare and administer medications and blood products safely according to clinical standards.
  • Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central lines.
  • Monitor laboratory results, coordinate protocol-based dose modifications, and consult providers for orders.
  • Manage triage calls, symptoms, medications, documentation, and referrals to community resources.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • Active RN license and registration with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • At least 1–3 years of nursing experience for Level I, 3+ years for Level II, or 5+ years including oncology experience for Senior level.
  • Strong critical-thinking, communication, adaptability, and interpersonal skills.
  • Maintain continuing education requirements and work safely in an oncology clinic environment involving potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and medical preparations.

Nice to have

  • Oncology Certified Nurse certification or oncology, infusion, or radiation experience.
  • Strong IV and central-line skills.
  • Experience with OncoEMR, Epic, or similar EHR systems.
  • Interest in developing skills in gynecologic oncology, blood and marrow transplantation, or pediatrics.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills.
