Project Manager (EdTech)

Location: Columbia, Maryland, United States; hybrid schedule with four in-office days per week, Monday–Thursday

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional projects that support student enrollment growth, retention, student experience, and operational improvements.
• Analyze project needs and create detailed plans covering activities, timelines, resources, and delivery milestones.
• Manage multiple projects, tracking progress, scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate project teams within a Pod structure and support smooth implementation across business units.
• Identify obstacles, adjust sequencing and resourcing, and negotiate staffing changes when required.
• Communicate project status and issues to clients, sponsors, functional leaders, product teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• Five years of full-lifecycle project management experience, including knowledge of PMBOK or another qualified methodology.
• Experience in an academic enterprise and proficiency with project management practices and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, interpersonal communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives, business and vendor resources, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet project milestones, deadlines, and budget expectations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business or Project Management.
• PMP certification.
