Senior Credit Review Auditor (Finance)

Location: Independence, Ohio; on-site work required. Work may involve the Independence Bus Office, Northwest Bancshares HQ, and Administration Center.

What you will do

• Plan and complete internal credit audits based on assessed business-unit and subject-matter risks.
• Research and interpret applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and current literature.
• Collect and review samples, data, evidence, and working papers to validate audit findings.
• Evaluate credit policies and procedures, identify weaknesses and emerging risks, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare audit reports, management letters, credit reports, and meeting materials.
• Present findings to the department manager and auditors, collaborate with relevant personnel, and assess corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 5–6 years of credit review or business-related experience.
• 3–5 years of bank auditing experience and 3–5 years of general business-related experience.
• Advanced financial analysis, data and statistics interpretation, and proven analytical skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions, manage workload, communicate clearly, and work effectively within a team.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office, department-specific applications, and on-site equipment.
