Location: Phoenix, Arizona, at CityScape; full-time onsite role with occasional travel required

What you will do
- Plan, execute, and deliver regulatory reporting oversight testing cycles within established compliance frameworks and timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments, conformance reviews, transaction testing, and control evaluations to assess data quality and reporting integrity.
- Supervise senior and staff-level employees, review their work, and ensure adherence to testing standards.
- Analyze discrepancies, assess their impact on regulatory reporting, and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders.
- Prepare and present testing results, findings, recommendations, and project deliverables to management and governance committees.
- Partner with Accounting, Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Data Management teams on reporting improvements and special projects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in internal controls, public accounting, internal audit, or a similar field.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of internal control analysis, risk assessment methodologies, COSO, IIA standards, generally accepted accounting principles, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and/or FRB reporting requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of commercial banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and banking products and services.
- Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory, legal, and industry compliance requirements.
- Strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and Microsoft Office skills; previous leadership experience is preferred.

- Certified Public Accountant designation.
