Senior Project Manager (Refrigeration)

Location: Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; hybrid work with at least three days per week in the office. Up to 15% travel is required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do

• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control complex refrigeration, gas compression, Engineer to Order, and strategic projects.
• Coordinate sales, engineering, planning, purchasing, production, finance, logistics, and field services to meet customer expectations.
• Manage project scope, schedules, resources, costs, risks, and critical-path activities.
• Build and maintain customer, vendor, and business relationships while addressing concerns and implementing corrective actions.
• Improve project, program, and portfolio management processes and tools.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and influence project team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• At least 4 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing project teams of 10 or more people and complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing budgets up to $750,000 and projects lasting up to 12 months.
• Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and influencing skills, including the ability to influence without formal authority.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA).
• Refrigeration or oil and gas industry experience.
• Training and practical experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools and project management methodologies.
