Account Manager (Waste Services)

Location: Huntington Beach, California, USA; full-time, onsite role

Salary: $70,304–$89,200 per year, plus a sales commission plan target of 30% annually.

What you will do

• Maintain and retain existing commercial and industrial waste-service customers in an assigned territory.
• Build long-term customer relationships, increase loyalty, and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Schedule and conduct proactive customer calls and visits, recording key information in company systems.
• Complete contract renewals, respond to cancellation requests, and support pricing initiatives.
• Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to review retention activities, goals, and key relationships.
• Coordinate with operations to resolve customer-service issues and represent the company at trade shows and community events.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role involving the identification and resolution of customer needs.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, presentation, active listening, persuasion, time management, and follow-through skills.
• Self-motivated, service-oriented, energetic, professional, and goal-focused approach.
