Senior Cloud Platform & Site Reliability Engineering Lead (Azure)

Location: Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont; onsite four days per week on Monday through Thursday

Salary: $136,875–$200,750 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure and related technologies.
• Develop and improve CI/CD, SRE, observability, and infrastructure automation capabilities.
• Drive infrastructure as code using Bicep, ARM, and other automation tools.
• Define Azure architecture standards covering networking, identity, security, AKS, serverless, and PaaS services.
• Lead incident resolution, capacity and performance management, risk mitigation, and operational improvement.
• Collaborate with development, QA, operations, and business stakeholders while mentoring technical staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience with CI/CD, APM, source code management, infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, including at least 4 years in technical leadership.
• Strong expertise in multiple areas including Azure, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, Git, monitoring, containers, serverless technologies, scripting, and automation.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, New Relic or similar tools, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AKS, Azure Functions, Python, or PowerShell.
• Ability to lead through influence, manage change, collaborate in complex matrixed environments, and mentor technical staff.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Exposure to AI technologies, AIOps, and AI-assisted application performance practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools such as SonarQube, JFrog, or SwaggerHub.
