Vice President, Global Probes Field Applications (Semiconductor Test)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite day shift

Salary: $257,800–$338,415 per year, plus quarterly profit-sharing bonuses

What you will do

• Lead the global Probes Field Applications organization across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
• Own the Field Applications lifecycle from customer engagement and feasibility analysis through PCIF submission.
• Serve as the senior technical escalation point for strategic and global probe customers.
• Improve probe design-win rates, Field Applications cycle time, and PCIF First-Time-Right performance.
• Partner with Sales and Design Engineering on account strategies, product roadmaps, NPI, technology reviews, and post-PCIF handoffs.
• Lead talent development, resource planning, hiring, KPI standardization, and continuous improvement across global teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant leadership experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combinations of advanced education and experience; preferred experience includes 15+ years in Field Applications, Engineering, or technical customer-facing roles.
• At least 5 years supporting large global semiconductor customers.
• Deep expertise in probe cards, wafer probing, and semiconductor test applications.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams in a matrixed organization, with strong business acumen and executive-level communication skills.
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment and automatic wafer probers; familiarity with PCB and thin-film design technologies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30–50%.

Nice to have

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Senior leadership experience at a probe card or test equipment company.
