Data Quality IMR Analyst – APAC Region (Insurance)

Location: 2 Park Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; primarily in the office

What you will do

• Manage the complete data quality issue lifecycle for the APAC region, from intake and triage through resolution and closure.
• Investigate issues with business, technology, risk, compliance, and data governance stakeholders.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and support sustainable remediation plans.
• Monitor remediation actions, dependencies, risks, and delays, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with enterprise governance standards and regulatory expectations.
• Produce data quality dashboards, KPI/KRI reports, and trend analysis for senior leadership and governance forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, finance, business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in data governance, data quality, data management, operational risk, or audit, including issue management or remediation in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory frameworks, data quality dimensions, and data lineage.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, Collibra, Informatica Data Management Cloud, or equivalent workflow and issue-management platforms.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, modern data architecture, and SQL for investigating and validating large datasets.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing across business and technology functions and preparing executive-ready reports.

Nice to have

• CDMP, DCAM, or an equivalent data management certification.
