Capital Modelling Analyst (Insurance)

hirify.global provides commercial and personal insurance solutions through a global property and casualty insurance network, with Talbot operating Lloyd’s syndicates.

What you will do

• Develop business functionality and outputs for the Talbot internal capital model, including planned Igloo developments.
• Produce Solvency UK and Lloyd’s regulatory capital reports, including SCR submissions, LCR forms, associated returns, and annual PRA Internal Model Output submissions.
• Support internal model use in business planning and Group strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate across the syndicate to reflect the current risk profile and contribute to internal model validation.
• Support model governance, prepare and present analysis and documentation to senior management and the Internal Model Governance Committee.
• Conduct ad hoc investigations, stress and scenario testing, ORSA and AFR work, and document internal model limitations.

Requirements

• General insurance experience, ideally in capital modelling within the Lloyd’s market.
• Excellent Igloo coding and analysis skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Quantitative background with an interest in coding, modelling, investigation, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate across the business.
