Warehouse Operator/Material Handler

Location: Galway, Ireland; onsite, full-time. Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am–4pm; Friday, 7:30am–2pm.

Salary: €32,300–€43,700 annually, with potential discretionary annual bonus and other applicable incentives.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, store, and issue materials while checking quantities, lot numbers, expiry dates, and documentation.
• Process receipts, transfers, issues, and finished-goods movements in Oracle ERP.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and freight providers, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, variance investigations, corrective actions, and quarantine management for non-conforming materials.
• Transfer materials between warehouses, production, sterilisation partners, and distribution centres while optimising warehouse space and organisation.
• Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, and other handling equipment safely, maintain 5S housekeeping standards, and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of warehouse and shipping experience.
• Experience handling domestic and international shipments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Comfort working with ERP systems; Oracle experience is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage urgent work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong focus on quality, compliance, and workplace safety.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
• Forklift licence.
• Proactive, autonomous, and collaborative approach to work.
