Distribution Centre Team Lead (Life Sciences)

Location: Dublin, Ireland; onsite distribution centre role

Salary: €29,300–€46,940 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity

What you will do

• Perform inbound receipting, outbound picking, packing, dispatch, and system transactions.
• Coordinate daily task allocation and adjust priorities to meet service levels and customer needs.
• Act as the first escalation point for operational queries, workflow issues, and priority changes.
• Guide, coach, and support Distribution Centre Operatives, including onboarding and training new starters.
• Prepare accurate shipments, labels, and documentation in line with customer, regulatory, and dangerous goods requirements.
• Identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of approved process changes.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Strong hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Ability to guide and influence colleagues without formal authority.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Confident IT skills and experience with ERP or CRM systems.

Nice to have

• Third-level qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Med Tech Operations NFQ Level 6.
• Dangerous Goods by Air knowledge or IATA qualification.
• Forklift licence.
• Experience with Microsoft D365, Salesforce, and courier shipping platforms.
• First Aid or Fire Marshal certification.
