Software Product Manager

Location: Remote, ideally based in the U.S. Central or Midwest region; domestic and international travel of up to 10% required. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $84,400–$135,000 per year, plus potential quarterly bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Define, maintain, and prioritize the software product backlog based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic objectives.
• Write product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release scopes.
• Coordinate engineering, UX/UI design, quality assurance, technical writing, implementation, customer success, sales, and marketing teams throughout product development and launches.
• Conduct customer interviews, feedback sessions, product discovery, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Establish and monitor product performance indicators, including adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, quality, operational efficiency, and business impact.
• Communicate product vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap context while identifying risks, dependencies, and delivery obstacles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, information systems, product management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an Agile Scrum or Kanban software product development environment.
• Experience managing SaaS, cloud-based, web, mobile, or enterprise software products.
• Experience prioritizing initiatives and making data-informed decisions using customer insights, product analytics, business metrics, risk, and technical feasibility.
• Experience defining, measuring, and communicating product success metrics and KPIs.
• Remote work is intended for candidates based in the U.S., ideally in the Central or Midwest region; relocation is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with construction technology, estimating software, building products, dealer software, ERP, CRM, quoting solutions, or residential construction workflows.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning-enabled products, workflow automation, and emerging software technologies.
