Product Manager – OpenLab Software Products (CDS)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; remote work option available

Salary: $139,440–$261,450 per year, plus eligibility for bonus, stock, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and manage the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for Software Maintenance Agreements and assigned CDS add-on products.
• Translate customer and field needs into offerings that improve software upgrades, support, lifecycle management, and adoption.
• Partner with R&D, Marketing, Sales, Services, Support, Licensing, IT, and Customer Success teams to prioritize requirements and deliver outcomes.
• Develop business cases, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategies to support recurring revenue, renewals, and retention.
• Guide software lifecycle policies, upgrade programs, migration strategies, and customer transition plans.
• Support launches, sales enablement, training, communications, and performance measurement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent qualification with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven product management experience across the full product lifecycle.
• Experience with software products, maintenance agreements, licensing, subscriptions, SaaS, or recurring revenue models.
• Experience with commercialization, pricing, business case development, and go-to-market planning.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills, including experience working with global teams.
• Willingness to travel; the posting specifies up to 20% in the qualifications and 25% travel required in the additional details.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of laboratory informatics, chromatography data systems, software licensing, or regulated laboratory environments.
• Experience applying AI in laboratory software environments.
