Master of Social Work (Adjunct)

Location: Remote, United States

Compensation: $1,560–$4,080 per quarter or semester for graduate course instruction; $700–$2,200 per quarter for undergraduate course instruction.

What you will do

• Teach assigned social work courses through the eCollege online learning platform.
• Interact with students through discussion boards, online office hours, chats, and other approved channels.
• Respond to student questions within 48 hours and provide timely, substantive feedback and grades.
• Verify the accuracy and integrity of student postings and submissions, including through Turnitin.
• Advise, mentor, and support students in a distance-learning environment.
• Participate in residencies, intensives, colloquia, research supervision, or other assigned academic duties when applicable.

Requirements

• PhD or DSW in social work or a closely related field is required.
• MSW from a CSWE-accredited institution is required.
• Teaching, advising, mentoring, communication, leadership, teamwork, and human-relations skills.
• Relevant intellectual and professional contributions and practical experience in social work.
• Ability to use e-learning platforms, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, zip software, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Reliable internet access and appropriate computer equipment, with alternate access available if the primary connection fails.

Nice to have

• Three or more years of teaching experience at the program's degree level.
• Two or more years of online or technology-enabled instruction experience.
• Two years of post-graduate experience with a license.
• Distance-learning experience and eligibility for relevant professional licenses or certifications.
