Senior Data Scientist (Generative AI)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remote. Office locations: Louisville, Kentucky; Boston, Massachusetts; New York, New York; Dallas, Texas; Tampa, Florida; or Washington, DC (Arlington, Virginia).

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design and develop production-ready AI solutions using Python, machine learning, generative models, and large language models.
• Build autonomous AI agents with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI for healthcare reasoning and decision-making.
• Integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems and workflows while addressing scalability, reliability, transparency, safety, and compliance.
• Execute data science initiatives, including the design, development, and implementation of models and algorithms.
• Develop monitoring capabilities to maintain model performance and reliability in production.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, MLOps and DevOps teams, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of applicable experience, or master’s degree with at least 3 years of experience, preferably developing production-ready AI solutions.
• Experience with agentic AI system design and language modeling with transformers.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and data analysis or data mining tools.
• Experience with Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Experience building high-performance, large-scale machine learning systems and large-scale ETL pipelines.
• Availability for the required hybrid schedule at one of the listed U.S. office locations.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Prior consulting experience.
