Lab Technician I (Analytical Chemistry)

What you will do

• Prepare samples for analysis according to analytical SOPs using department-specific basic instrumentation.
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate preparation instruments and laboratory equipment.
• Support validation and method detection limit studies when required.
• Enter and maintain technical information supporting laboratory operations.
• Maintain the laboratory notebook where applicable and follow internal procedures and safety standards.
• Work independently and collaboratively to meet production, hold-time, and turnaround-time targets.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• English required; basic mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Associate degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in analytical chemistry laboratories preferred.
