Product Mechanical Engineer I (HVAC)

Location: Tulsa, OK, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Execute product planning and provide product support for assigned HVAC products.
• Define product specifications, conduct competitive analysis, and manage Electronic Catalog tables.
• Maintain bills of materials, piping and electrical documentation, and communicate product updates across departments.
• Evaluate, test, and modify unit components while working with external vendors on new and replacement components.
• Provide engineering applications, technical warranty, and after-market sales support.
• Analyze test data for DOE, ASHRAE, and AHRI compliance and travel to third-party testing or field test sites when necessary.

Requirements

• Four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree or an equivalent technical degree in applied sciences.
• 1–2 years of experience in the HVAC industry or a similar industry.
• Ability to read and review electrical diagrams and perform analytical problem solving.
• Strong written and spoken communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and periodically visit manufacturing areas with heat, cold, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
