Ocean Export Agent (Logistics)

Location: Brisbane, California, USA; must be local. Onsite Monday to Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm PST.

Salary: $24.00–$30.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate ocean freight shipment processing.
• Enter operational data, track and trace shipments, and maintain accurate shipment information.
• Communicate proactively with internal and external customers, service providers, and government agencies.
• Manage client billing accurately, including dispute resolution.
• Meet customer expectations, SOP requirements, KPIs, company policies, and external regulations.
• Complete cross-training and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology.

Requirements

• Knowledge of or prior experience with industry-specific qualifications.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, APIs, integrations, and system architecture.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, and M365 technologies.
• Basic understanding of AI, machine learning, LLMs, and prompt engineering, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.

Nice to have

• Experience developing automations, applications, or digital solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects.
• Experience in operations, logistics, finance, or enterprise shared services.
• Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, or related technologies.
