Information Security Engineer (IAM/PAM)

Location: Troy, Michigan, United States; full-time onsite role

What you will do

• Manage, optimize, configure, patch, upgrade, and monitor enterprise IT security platforms.
• Implement and maintain security solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Apply security controls to networks, systems, applications, and data, supporting secure application and service integration.
• Develop and maintain security automation using scripting and APIs to improve operational efficiency.
• Support Zero Trust, least privilege, RBAC, IAM, and PAM initiatives across the organization.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, development, operations, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders on security assessments, troubleshooting, audits, and improvements.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressive experience supporting and implementing enterprise-scale information security solutions.
• At least three years of hands-on experience across security operations, architecture, vulnerability management, and compliance support.
• Experience securing cloud-based and on-premises environments and deploying security infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation, with experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and audit readiness, including SOX; familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA is preferred.
• Knowledge of IAM and PAM technologies and concepts, including Azure AD, RSA, SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, AWS IAM, Azure RBAC, GCP IAM, MFA, SSO, LDAP, SAML, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.

Nice to have

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, including access-related queries and audit reporting.
• Familiarity with financial systems, mortgage lending, funding, or closing platforms.
• Experience supporting threat analysis, incident response, digital forensics, and IAM/PAM on-call troubleshooting.
