Team Leader Laboratory

Location: Singapore

Salary: SGD 5,300–6,500 per month

What you will do

• Coordinate daily laboratory activities, plan work, supervise execution, and serve as the first point of contact for laboratory technicians and management.
• Monitor safety compliance, equipment operation, work quality, and adherence to applicable standards and SOPs.
• Investigate and remediate analytical and post-analytical sample issues, including complex assay, QC, and PT failures.
• Act as PPIC for business or tissue banking activities and liaise with MOH and CGO on applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead new computer system validation and assay validation activities for the Singapore team.
• Manage inventory and imports, including import licenses, and report results within agreed turnaround times.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in a central or clinical laboratory.
• B.Sc. degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency with MS Office and laboratory device software packages.
• Experience using Bio-Rad URT or a similar application.
• Detailed knowledge of laboratory work, quality systems, ISO requirements, SOPs, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Work location: Singapore.
