New Business Case Management Specialist (Mandarin Speaking)

Location: Addison, Texas or Montpelier, Vermont with a hybrid arrangement; remote work may be considered for candidates outside a reasonable commuting distance from these offices. The position is limited to the USA.

Hourly pay range: $18–$27 USD.

What you will do

• Process life insurance applications in workflow management systems.
• Assess medical, nonmedical, and financial risk factors and determine appropriate application ratings.
• Provide information and resolve application issues for agents and agencies.
• Act as the primary liaison with producing agents and agencies throughout each application’s lifecycle.
• Communicate through phone, email, and CRM while collaborating with the case management team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience interacting with customers in the life insurance and/or annuity fields.
• Mandarin-speaking bilingual communication skills.
• Strong communication, empathy, listening, problem-solving, judgment, and independent decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting.
• A college degree is preferred but not required.
