IT Security Supervisor (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Mequon, Wisconsin, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available. The role supports a global manufacturing environment operating 24/7, including on-call coverage and project-related travel.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, alert management, threat detection, and operational response.
• Supervise, coach, and develop cybersecurity personnel, rotational resources, interns, and external service partners.
• Coordinate incident response activities, including investigation, containment, escalation, remediation, and post-incident improvements.
• Oversee vulnerability management, remediation prioritization, risk communication, reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Manage MSSP, MDR, and other cybersecurity service-provider relationships and performance.
• Support cybersecurity tools, operational metrics, security governance, awareness initiatives, and risk-reduction projects with Digital Technology, Operational Technology, Risk & Controls, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least five years of cybersecurity or related experience.
• Experience supporting security technologies and controls across hybrid cloud, SaaS, endpoint, network, identity, and on-premises environments.
• Experience with SIEM, endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, identity and access controls, network security, email and web security, data protection, forensics, and cloud security.
• Hands-on system administration experience with Linux and Windows, plus networking, scripting, security attacks, and mitigation techniques.
• Strong incident prioritization, project management, communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; availability for 24/7 on-call support is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with cybersecurity automation, scripting, artificial intelligence, workflow optimization, or operational maturity initiatives.
• Manufacturing or industrial control systems experience.
• Security certification such as Security+, GSEC, CISSP, or CEH.
• Knowledge of PCI, HIPAA, NIST CSF, CMMC, or ISO 27001 frameworks.
