Allowance for Credit Losses Analyst Sr

Location: Work from home in the United States; travel less than 15%.

Salary: $69,292.50–$119,433.00 annual base pay, with potential variable compensation.

What you will do

• Execute quarterly allowance for credit losses production for the loan and lease portfolio under established methodology and the SOX framework.
• Analyze ACL changes, including rate and volume, economic forecasts, credit mix, and unintuitive drivers.
• Collaborate with Credit and other stakeholders to develop and document qualitative adjustments.
• Prepare working group materials, governance documentation, financial disclosures, regulatory reports, and ad hoc analyses.
• Communicate ACL results and support strategic initiatives related to the ACL program.
• Maintain knowledge of CECL standards, regulatory guidance, and credit risk factors.

Requirements

• Four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in credit risk management, accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, financial analysis, and forecasting skills.
• Working knowledge of data querying languages and software, with strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to independently manage workflows, solve problems, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver on commitments.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CECL.
• Experience in mid-size or large financial institutions.
• Experience with the Alteryx platform.
