Lead Primary Care Physician (FM or IM)

Location: Onsite in Lost Hills and Delano, California, USA; travel is required between the Lost Hills, Delano, and mobile clinics. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $275,000–$317,000 annually, plus potential annual performance bonus and monthly car allowance.

What you will do

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based outpatient primary care, with approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative and leadership responsibilities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary clinical environment focused on improving health outcomes for empaneled patients.
• Direct clinic support staff and collaborate with physician assistants, nurse practitioners, behavioral health, nutrition, physical therapy, and health coaching providers.
• Develop, review, and revise clinical protocols, training materials, and project-specific data.
• Lead initiatives covering patient engagement, access, population health management, referral tracking, and clinical quality.
• Collaborate with business-unit leaders to improve the health outcomes of employees served by the clinics.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one, plus a DEA Certificate.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, especially Epic.
• Written and verbal fluency in medical Spanish is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Lost Hills and Delano, California, with travel to the mobile clinic.
